Shrink film is a polyethylene film that can shrink under high temperature; it is widely used for parcel and group packaging to replace cardboard or plastic packaging during transportation.

This type of film tightly wraps the goods, hence the packaging becomes more compact and the cost of transportation decreases. As this type of film protects the goods during transportation, they are less likely to be damaged.
